Grady is 7 months old!!

Length = 27.25ins - between the 25 and 50 percentile (oh yeah last time the nurse measured Grady wrong)

Weight = 15lbs 4oz - below the 5 percentile

We talked to the Dr about his weight and she said we are going keep watching him. She told us to start feeding him baby food 3 times a day, he was eating it twice a day. He loves to eat baby food, so this will work out great!!

Grady is babbling and sitting without support. He is now rolling around to get toys. He has no teeth yet!

Grady "played" Putt-Putt with us at the moms group Family Putt-Putt Night on Oct 10.

Grady and I went to The Louisiana Children's Museum in New Orleans with the Moms group on Oct 18th. We had a really good time.

We had a great Halloween. Grady was a monkey. We went to a Halloween Party at our friends Kevin and Andrea's House. We were Tarzan and Jane with our Monkey Cheeta. Grady came to the party with us said hello to everyone and then we put him to sleep in the back room while we partied. Then on Monday night the Moms Group had a Halloween Party. And on Halloween night we dressed up Grady sat outside and passed out candy.

Grady is 6 months old!!

Length = 28ins = in 90 percentile

Weight = 14lbs 12oz = in 5 percentile (the doctor is not worried but we are going to check his weight in 6 weeks)

Grady is eating baby food twice a day now. He has tried all the Stage 1 vegetables and will start trying fruits tomorrow. We have to wait 3 to 4 days between new foods to make sure his is not allergic to it, so it is a slow process. But he loves all the vegetables he has tried. He also now drinks juice and water from a sippy cup.

Grady is almost sitting alone. We still have to have something behind him because if he gets too excited or tired he just leans back. He can now put his foot in his month. He also is reaching and grabbing for everything and when he gets something it goes straight in his mouth.

Grady went to see the new Mike the Tiger at LSU. He has been tailgating for two LSU games and had a great time.

Grady got baptized on Sept 9. Thanks you to everyone that came, it was a great day!

Oh yeah, Winston is doing great. Grady gets so excited when he sees Winston. Grady opens his mouth to give Winston a big kiss and Winston will sometimes (when he is not being too lazy) come over and lick Grady’s face.

Grady is 5 months old!!

He weighs 14lbs 9.6oz (he lost a tiny bit of weight) and is 25 5/8ins long.

Grady is rolling over both ways now. He is trying to sit and stand up on his own, but he does not have it yet. He is eating oatmeal once a day now and loving it. He shakes and plays with objects and transfers them from hand to hand.

We are having a lot of fun with the Stay at Home Moms group. We have gone to a couple play dates, swimming and to the play land at the mall with the group.

Great News

Hello Everyone

I have great news to share with all of you. Last week I decided to quit my job and Stay at Home with Grady! I quickly told school and moved all my things out of my classroom. Everyone at my school was very understanding. They found a new teacher before the end of the week.

I am very excited about staying at home with Grady. I have already joined a Stay at Home Moms Group and gone to meet up with them once I had a great time. Grady just slept this time, but I am sure in a couple of months he will really start to enjoy the meet ups also.

Grady is 4 months old!!

Grady had his 4 month checkup today. He weighs 14lbs 10oz and is 25 ½ in long. He is still sleeping thru the night. He can now roll over from his back to his front.

We had a great time on vacation with Grandma & Grandpa Marino and Uncle Kevin.

Grady is 3 months old

Grady had his 3 month check-up yesterday. He weighs 13lbs 10 oz and is 25 in long.

He has been sleeping thru the night for about 3 weeks. He is smiling a lot and starting to laugh.

Grady's 2 months, 1 week old!!

Grady had his 2 month check-up today! He weighs 12 lb 14oz and is 24 ¾ in long. His weight is in the 75th% and his length is in the 90th%.

Grady is doing great, he is a very sweet and happy baby. Grady and I are having a lot of fun hanging out at home this summer. Grady has been to watch most of Keith’s soccer games. He also has been to 3 crawfish boils in the 2 months since he was born. He is smiling at everyone and every ceiling fan he sees. He is also cooing and “talking” a lot.
