Pumpkin Carving

Grady and Reece both helped us clean out the pumpkin guts this year.  Grady started gagging when he touched it last year.

 I got the idea to use cookie cutters and a rubber mallet from pinterest.  It was prefect for Reece this year and Grady enjoyed it too.

 Then I found the idea to drill holes in a pumpkin at the blog play at home mom.  I knew Grady would love this.

 Reece did a good job also!!  We really had a wonderful time carving pumpkins this year and the boys really got to help.  Not like other years where they mostly got to watch.

We also enjoyed eating the roasted pumpkin seeds after we finished.  This year I followed this recipe, with butter, salt and tonys.  They were really good and had a lot more favor.

Beach Vacation!!

Tuesday we spent the morning at the beach

The boys dug a huge hole.  My Parents drove in Tuesday night after work.

It rained Wednesday morning... so we put the boys down for an early nap and enjoyed the afternoon at the beach.

Today Keith buried the boys!!

Thursday Keith wanted to make a castle as tall as Grady. 

All the boys worked on it.

Even Papa!!

Then Grady & Reece got bored.  Grady started using the Boogie Board.

And they both dug with Grandma and Me.  

While Keith and Papa finished the castle.

And the first thing Grady and Reece wanted to do was destroy it.

While Grandma played with all the kids even the friend Grady made at the beach, Madeline.

Once it was dark out we came back to the beach with flashlights, the boys LOVED it.

Uncle Kevin drove to Destin Friday night after work.

Watching the LSU game.  We went out to dinner for pizza as Grady requested.  We went to Jordanos Pizza it was awesome and so filling.  Once it was dark we went back to the beach with the flashlights.

By the end of the week Keith and I were really sick.  So it was a long drive home...

but the boys did GREAT!!  

We had a wonderful trip, Grady wanted to stay forever.  

1st Day of our Vacation

We went on to Destin, FL last week for the whole week.   

But before we left we had to bring both the boys to the Dr for green runny noses and coughs.  

 The boys did GREAT on the drive... Grady watching a movie on the iphone.
