Months ago we went around town looking for big boy furniture for Grady and really did not find much. We did find one but it was expensive so I started to look online and actually found a set at Pottery Barn Kids cheaper then the furniture store in Baton Rouge. But then we decided to sell the house so I did not want to have the house messy while trying to sell it. Now since we decided that we are staying in Baton Rouge for 2 to 3 more years I finally got to order the furniture.

When the delivery men delivered the furniture Grady was really excited saying that was "his big boy furniture." He had to watch there every move. That weekend (Labor day weekend) we got Grady a mattress for his bed and set up his room. He moved to the guest room and the new baby will be in his old room. We moved all the guest room furniture to our room till we are able to bring to my parents house and loaded up my SUV with a ton of things for Goodwill. Then we moved Grady's play table from his old room to his new room and Grady started getting REALLY upset saying "No it goes right here, NO it goes RIGHT HERE." Most yall know Grady likes things to be in there place so he was cool with all the new furniture but did not like us moving things from his old room. He did the same thing when we moved the art easel. But once all the toys started moving to his BIG BOY BEDROOM he was loving it.

He is doing GREAT in his new bedroom. But the second night in his new bed he fell out and got stuck between the bed and nightstand. I went to put him back in bed and he just would not calm down I sat in there and comforted him till he calmed down. But as soon I left he started to cry again and on the 3rd time he said he need to potty. When we got in the bathroom I noticed I had blood on my arm and that is when I noticed he had BUSTED his lip. It was not bleeding anymore so I gave him some Tylenol to help with the pain. Poor Baby, that is why he was crying so much and would not calm down. He has not fallen out of bed again, thankfully because I really did not want to get a bedrail. I would have if he really needed it, but he has slept without one at my parents for months.

The same afternoon that we set up Grady's new room, we set up the new babies room. We converted the toddler bed back to a crib and moved up the mattress. We also put the glider and diaper gene back in the room. We need to get a couple things down from the attic and we will be ready for the baby. I have picked out new girly bedding in case the baby is a girl. I can not wait to see if we are having a girl or a boy! This is going to be a REALLY exciting delivery.
