Turkey Shirt

I found this super cute idea today on this blog One more Moore.  It is a 'reverse applique' turkey shirt made with Grady's handprint.  It was super easy to make and I think it turned out really cute.  All the directions are on her blog.

Oh while I was working on this... Keith was playing with our Christmas gift to each other, a new MAC Book!! We are really excited to have a new laptop but we have a little learning to do with the switch from PC to Mac, I am sure we will get the hang of it soon.

Blow your nose, Grady!

Grady now blows his nose when you ask him too and sometimes when you don't ask him too (he was blowing his nose in his hand Monday during music).

Pee pee on the Potty

About 2 weeks ago Keith and I decided to start putting Grady on the potty at night before his bath.  He has gone pee pee in the potty only twice but hey its a start.

Winston is 6 Years Old!!

I can not believe Winston is already 6 years old. It seems like it was just yesterday when Keith and I drove to Mississippi on New Years Eve 2002 to pick up Winston. We had just got engaged on Dec 23, 2002.
Winston only weighed 4.8 pounds when we got him. He now weighs 60 pounds. Keith and I got married in June 2004. Then we bought our 1st house in June 2005. Then we had Grady in March 2007. Man how time flies!! The Life Expectancy for English Bulldogs is only 8 to 10 Years, so Winston is really getting old.
We love you Chunk!! You are one sweet lazy dog!

Visiting Family

This weekend we decided to go to Mandeville to see our family since this was the only weekend in a long time that Keith has not had a soccer game.

Keith was going to try to leave work a little early so we would not have to drive though the 5-6pm traffic. Well his meeting ran late and he did not get home till almost 6pm. Well the one good thing about that is I was able to watch the news and see that they had CLOSED I-12 East because of a bad accident. So I got the GPS out and routed us around the closed interstate. Well after being in traffic for 2 HOURS and not getting out if Baton Rouge. We decided to go home and leave for Mandeville in the morning.

Once we got the Mandeville we had a really nice weekend. We were able to go swimming in my Parent's new pool. It was only 78 degrees outside but the pool is heated (88 degrees in the pool). Then we went to Adam (Keith's brother) and Rachel's House to watch the LSU football game and Keith's sister Katie came over also.

Halloween and Ear Infection

Sorry it has taken me so long to update, but I have been spending my free time finishing Grady's 1st year photo book. I placed the ordered for the photo book last night on Blurb. It is a hardcover book that has 136 pages and it only cost me $52. I will let know how it looks one it arrives.

So Back to Halloween.... Well Keith & I already had plans to go to a Halloween party that night and my mom was coming in town to watch Grady. With Grady not feeling well I had pretty much already decided that we would not go Trick or Treating. But while we were eating dinner Grady started to get really excited when the Trick or Treaters started knocking on the door. So we dressed Grady up and went Treat or Treating. Grady cried at every house we went to (we only went to 4 friend's houses). But when we got back home he started to get the hang of it ... he started to take candy from our bucket and put it in his bag.

Well this was not how I pictured his 1st Trick or Treating to go. But I guess that is life.

Here is a picture of the family before Keith and I left for our Halloween party!!

So then Saturday morning after our late night Halloween Party. We had to bring Grady back to the Dr so she could check his ear. Well she said his ear looked REALLY bad so he had to get another antibiotic injection and he had would have to get another one Sunday too. Thank goodness his ear looked great when we went in on Sunday.
