Christmas Eve!

The boys drew out then build their "gingerbread" houses.  

We went to Christmas Eve Mass then my parents, Aunt Lucy and Sean met us at our house for Seafood gumbo and to decorate gingerbread houses.

We went to Morgan City to see my Grandma Marino in skilled nursing.  She is there for therapy after being in the hospital for more than 2 weeks.

Then we gave my Mom the singing 60th birthday card Reece picked out for her.

We got Snowballs when we got home to end a wonderful day!!

Starbucks at Target this morning. Reece had to get an"iced coffee" with whip. (aka chocolate milk with ice)

July 4th

We trimmed trees and burned our burn pile. 

Then we went to our friends Molly and Per's house to celebrate to the 4th.  

It started to rain around 9pm so we did not walk over to try to see the firework.  Per had bought some Sparklers and the boys had a blast playing with them.

We dyed our Easter Eggs before the O'Meara Easter.

The boys rode their bikes while waiting for Papa and Dad to come home with the Crawfish.

Grady helped prep the ingredients for the crawfish boil.

Easter Sunday

The boys found their Easter baskets the Bunny hid.

We went to mass with Grandma & Papa, then had beignets.  

Reece Off-Roading on his bike, then the boys went swimming. 

 Look at all candy the Easter bunny left Grady, Reece, Mom and Dad!!

We read a very special book tonight about Braxton!!

After reading I put Reece in his bed and reminded him, like I do every night, that mom and dad will keep him safe. And he told me that "God and Braxton will too"

St. Patrick's Day Parade

Our friends Molly and Per had a get together at their house before the St Patrick's Day Parade.  They had breakfast and green beer before the parade and had brisket for lunch after.  

 We were trying to put Reece on Grady's shoulders on Keith's shoulders, but Grady could not really hold Reece. 

We had a great time at the Parade and the get together at Molly and Per's.  After a quick nap for Reece we went to get supplies to fix our neighbors fence.  We are hoping to get the posts up tomorrow.

We ended the night eating hamburgers outside on the porch.
