We went to Braxton's Memorial Mass and then went to have supper with my Grandma Marino to celebrate her birthday!!
Sunday
That is love bugs not dirt...The back porch is full of love bugs. I have never seen this many love bugs.
Monday
While Grady was at school, Reece and I stocked up on hurricane supplies and food. While we were at Grady's gym Keith started burning our burn pile before the storm.... After supper we made some s'mores while pile finished burning :)
We did not have chocolate so we used cookies!! YUM!
Tuesday
Grady and Keith were off of school/work. We finished picking up the things outside. Grady started tracking Hurricane Isaac.

Hello cootie.. Mom and Dad are having us sleep downstairs in the playroom because of Isaac!?!?
Wednesday
We woke up surprised to find the storm was still not here. We played the waiting game all day just waiting for the power to go out. We lucked out because we never lost power, which shocked us because we lose power during a normal rain storm.
We had to use our first aid kit during this hurricane already. But not bc of the storm... Reece fell off the couch and hit the the leg of the coffee table. It was bleeding pretty good for a second.
My Birthday!
Isaac had passed Grady and Keith were both off again. Rachel called to see what we were up to since they were needed a change of scenery from her Mom's house. So Rachel, Adam, Audrey and Kyle came over to play and hang out. We picked up po-boys for lunch from Family Food. While Keith made cupcakes and Adam watched the kids, Rachel and I went to get filets and triple sec. Rachel wanted to try the Margaritas we make and everyone agreed that margaritas sounded like a good starter drink.
School in the area were closed again today. The boys are playing with a chunk of ice I had in a pitcher in the freezer in case the power went out.
