Saints Are SUPERBOWL Champs!!

OH MY GOSH!! The New Orleans Saints WON the Superbowl!!

We had a wonderful day today. Superbowl Sunday breakfast of champions WHO DAT style -- Beignets. Then Keith and I got a BLACK and GOLD Mocha at CC's coffee. We were planning on stay home to watch the Superbowl and make 7-layer dip and pigs in a blanket. We just thought it would be easier with the two kids. Well today our friends called us to invite us to there house to watch the game and have gumbo (which was GREAT Chris). After initially thinking we would just stay home we decided to would be fun to watch the game with friends.

So we made the 7-layer dip and some chocolate covered pretzels to bring to there house. (Oh side note you can not put food coloring in melted white chocolate, it start to harden and will not melt again. I was trying to make half black and the other half gold, but it did not work.) We bathed the boys before we left so we could them right to bed when we got home.

We all had a GREAT time.. Reece loved people watching and getting passed around. Grady had a kid Ben, who is the same age as him, to play with and wear each other out.

During the 3rd quarter Grady started to get tired so we put the boys in there Pj's and came home. They both went right to sleep.

Keith had recorded the game so we were able to watch everything we missed but that means we were a little behind. Before we were done watching the game (we only had 3mins left) we get a phone call from Keith's grandmother in LONDON (3am there) saying CONGRATULATIONS!! We knew they were winning but did not know they had won, but thats OK!! It was a WONDERFUL game.

By the way my parents were at the SUPERBOWL tonight and had a WONDERFUL time. How cool is that!!
