Insta-Friday - Frankfort

Saturday (June 15)

We left the house at 3am Saturday morning, drove straight though and got to Frankfort around 10:30pm.  The boys did awesome.

Sunday

It was a little cool and foggy, but we had a wonderful day hang out at the beach.

Monday

Playing on the way to the Post Office.  We enjoyed all the mail we received.

Grady bought a smoke bomb at the dime store after he had everyone help him make a huge volcano!!

Passed out in his spaghetti.

Tuesday
Grady went on a bike ride this morning with Grandma & Aunt Lucy.  Reece rode his bike around the condos.
We went to get our daily donuts, flew kites, played in the sand.
Went to Point Betsie, played sand soccer and Grady took a sunset Kayak trip with Grandma & Aunt Lucy (paddling the kayak for the first time by himself).

Wednesday

Keith took a 6.5mile run this morning.

After lunch we biked to Crystal Lake 15.5miles round trip. 

Had supper at A & W and the boys had root beer floats!

We also sang Happy Birthday to Aunt Stephanie.  

Thursday

We went to Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes then played in Platte River!

We had a sunset Campfire and S'Mores.  Then we lit the Sky lanterns we bought at the 5 and Dime.

Friday

We had a lazy day hanging out on the beach.  Our whole family went kayaking with Papa.

We had Ice cream after supper, then watched the sunset.

After Sunset we bathed the boys and packed up to truck to start our drive home around 10:30pm.  

We had a wonderful week hanging out with the family.  I love the laid back, easy going vacation that Frankfort provides.
